Is Mr. Hunter going to be doing any signings in South Carolina. I am a huge fan I own all his books except Target and would be thrilled for an chance to meet him.

Nice stops but, of course, Maine is not one of them! Haha. Not that I expected it to be one anyway. Oh well. I’m still so pumped for this book.

I can hardly wait to get this book. I love Bobby Lee. Oh how I wish your were coming to the East Coast. Maine would be a great place to stop.

The name of the bookstore in Memphis is actually called Davis Kidd. They are owned by Joseph Beth’s but kept the name.

earl is out of the picture and bobby lee’s character has fully blossomed. maybe the time has come for a new series-how about stinger ray and his mark 2 sten gun? i believe this was the name of mr.hunter’s original hero when we toiled together as gardeners for several summers at northwestern university, under the strictest supervision of herman the german. hard work nurtures the creative impulse, albeit in its primitive oral form. looking forward to briefly revisiting those student days when the book tour hits lost angeles.

I had the opportunity to meet Stephen Hunter at his book signing on January 9 at the Sam’s Club in Annapolis, MD. The early crowds had been there and gone when I arrived, and I had him all to myself for about ten minutes. He signed a number of my copies of his works, and said some very encouraging things about my own fiction-writing efforts. A nice man, and a great novelist. It was a treat and a privilege.
